Our versatile chutneys and relishes are all gluten free and low in sodium. As they are all shelf stable with a shelf life of approximately 18 months they make great gifts and are handy to have as a pantry staple for entertaining. Once opened they do need to be refrigerated.
Savoury Eggplant Chutney
Once tried this chutney is loved, even by those who don’t like eggplant! It combines eggplant with onions, garlic, sultanas, and curry style herbs and spices. Maleny Cuisine’s Savoury Eggplant Chutney is great with cheese, curries, hot or cold meats (especially lamb) or vegetables. It is a perfect accompaniment for a cheese or antipasto platter.
Ingredients: Eggplant 30%, Vinegar, Onions, Sugar, Sultanas, Garlic (Citric Acid), Chilli (Acetic Acid) and a blend of herbs and spices
